In a few weeks, the partnership between SDG and SPIER will start its tenth year of existence. This successful partnership was established in December 2011.
SPIER is the leading manufacturer of bodies, trailers and extensions for the transport of dry and refrigerated cargo in the tonnage range from 3.5 to 40 tons gross vehicle weight. SDG Modultechnik as an owner-managed company focuses on integrated solutions for BDF swap body transport. The offer includes kits, complete vehicles and concepts specially tailored to large BDF fleets.
As competence partners, SDG and SPIER are constantly working on new and innovative solutions to further improve customer benefits as well as the efficiency and sustainability of the products.
Together they handed over the number 1,000 vehicle to CharterWay in 2015. In the meantime, the 2,500 mark has fallen! On this occasion Jürgen Spier, CEO of Spier GmbH & Co. Fahrzeugwerk KG, presented a small gift with appreciative words to Henrik and Volker Hollmann, COO and CEO of SDG Modultechnik GmbH, during the SDG in-house exhibition 2020. Henrik and Volker Hollmann unanimously emphasized that the partnership with SPIER had contributed significantly to the successful development of SDG. They wanted to intensively expand the partnership and develop it further in relation to changing market conditions.
SDG and SPIER can look back on a very successful past and have together set the course for an equally successful future. The strong partnership enables both companies to continue to grow successfully in their respective core businesses and to use synergies effectively.
