The multi-functional BDF
swap body system

SDG Volumen HV 350 KT is designed for the transportation of volume swap bodies with a maximum height of 3150 mm. The arms are flange-mounted and allow the pick-up of containers with an adjustable height up to 970 mm. Thanks to the integrated height adjustment, additional loading heights of 970 to 1320 mm can be achieved.

Conception:

Divided swap frame in modular design, for transportation of volume swap bodies with a maximum corner height, as well as short-coupled use of centre-axle trailers up to 18t. Allows transportation of standardized swap containers according to DIN EN 284 for picking up standardized container lengths C 7.150 – C 7.820 and parking heights 970-1320 mm. 4 flange-mounted arms HUB 120/350 mm and height-adjustable middle supports, wear liners in frame middle.

Surface:

Enduring and high-quality corrosion protection through hot-dip galvanizing of any attachments. Middle supports galvanized and additionally coated in signal yellow.

Locking:

Solid flange-mounted arms with height-adjustable and pneumatic spring supported interlocking devices HUB 120/350 mm. Interlocking through 4 pivots. Central front stop C 7.820, with PE protection.

Swapping process:

Picking up or putting down swap containers takes place through pneumatic lifting and lowering device of chassis as well as mechanical height adjustment.

Middle and height supports:

Front and back frame segment and container wear linings centered on the frame according to CEN/TC 119/WG. In the front foldable, solid and patent protected middle support HUB 120/350 mm. At the reck/middle two telescopic middle supports.

Guidance:

Guidance is provided by six guide rollers on frame end and frame middle. At the rear carrier and frame middle through two guide rollers, as well as guidance through middle supports in frame middle and front carrier. At the rear carrier foldable middle supports with guidance for HUB 350 mm.
