DAF factory order with SDG preparation

Chassis manufacturer DAF and BDF swap system manufacturer SDG are moving even closer together. From now on, the preparation for a multi changer (SDG HV 120 KT) can be ordered directly from the factory. The already integrated support arm brackets facilitate the assembly of the popular all-round system. In addition to significant time savings during assembly, the further development brings cost advantages. In addition, the surface quality of the entire vehicle is improved, as the chassis frame is not subsequently drilled and thus the corrosion protection is optimally maintained.

From the Eindhoven factory, the chassis are now delivered with an SDG support arm bracket already mounted on the assembly line. The SDG support arm bracket is mounted on the chassis on the left and right side (directly behind the bend angle of the chassis).

The intensive coordination with DAF, which has been going on for years, has reached the next level in the complete new development of the NGD DAF XF and DAF XG model range, and once again illustrates the partnership between DAF and SDG with the precisely matched SDG hole pattern.
